The title seemed to be the first thing that came to mind, however that's the last thing I've been doing! All this snow makes it impossible... I feel like a rat stuck deep within the housing units unable to seek the light..... Please will spring grace us with it's fair presence already?! That would make me smile..... :-)
I have been dabbling quite a bit with a few different ways of nutrition recently - I've been a vegetarian for almost an on-going year now. For better health & my compassion for animals. It definitely has felt like the right lifestyle choice for me, I only wish I became one sooner. I'm researching more into raw food diets and it's benefits versus everything that is cooked, fried, or grilled.
Hardly any of my meals throughout the day are cooked to begin with but I think when people refer to 'going raw' they mean a completely 100% natural diet. Or those who practice as a vegan, I wouldn't consider myself one since I still consume dairy products every so often, but with that being said I have cut back a lot on milk and household every day dairy products after hearing that it's not-so-good-for-us.
If you were a milk lover like me than a good replacement would be almond milk (which I swear by). Almost all of my food is organic but I can't help but wonder how much do they 'market' to us is really organic if you catch my drift. Needless to say I've slimmed down a lot from cleaning up food habits but not in all the right places??? I'll try explaining that at the next gig I book as to why none of the brassiere's fit..... but that's all excess fat anyways right? Yeah, I'm sure most men would have the same outlook on that..... Not! Ha ha ha. Anyways, I do find it to be a difficult task to find a healthy balance. I guess it's like what they say "All in moderation".
I would like to hear anyone else's thoughts or suggestions they might have or come across over the years in regards to nutrition.
OK, moving on now. I know I don't have any photos to feature this month but bare with me as modelling has not been my primary focus (currently anyways *wink*). Most recently I've been more consumed with my other work (Promotions) for most who are probably not aware that feeds off most of my time. But I do have an agency shoot coming up that I'd be happy to share with everyone.....
OH and incase I haven't already mentioned, as of October I have been growing out my natural hair colour which I am ubber excited to have grown out. I really have organic in all senses of my life, I just want to be as natural and simple as possible. To be as nature intended me to be..... *smile*
That and I've realised that I spent a total of $2,640.00 dollars on my hair last year (not including the additional $500 which it cost me to strip it from dark-back to my-light colour) which appears to me to be a tad bit ridiculous considering I've been colouring it a very similar tone to my own. Again, natural is best.
I must skidaddle now, as I am working another promotional event this afternoon and the next couple of days are going to be filled with events which will keep me very busy.
Before I go, a song that leaves my mind wanting more. Relaxes me.
