I am so pleased with the turn out of the event! All you ladies looked beautiful.

Hallow's Eve

Spending the night indoors. Perhaps with a little bit of luck there will be a version of Ichabod Crane's story on television.

From a previous night being sinful

Didn't get to carve my pumpkins, maybe next year. I had a good design in mind too. Damn.

SNAP

Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow canuck-a-ducks!

I'm considering getting more into the fall spirit by carving pumpkins and immersing myself into other fun fall festivities. If I do, I'll be more than happy to share on here. XOXO

End of the Summer

Autumn is by far my favourite season of all so I am ready to start a pleasent new chapter. Including those new fall boots in my closet ;-)

Approx two weeks back we covered the Rally for Kids Show & Shine event!

The day before yesterday I just returned home from covering an event in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Myself and the other ladies who graciously covered this event. Not to mention my Haute Couture dress. *cough cough*

Can't wait to see what the fall has in store! Soak up all it's beauty and enjoy life's simplicity.

Working Girl

Loving life right now.....

Two weeks back or so I did a music video for a group called the "meet brothers" it was filmed over at a private airport. Very fun experience! Here are some of my candids from the video shoot.

Did a lot of fun events in the past month! Had a couple of great shoots, still waiting on new photos from my agency with photographer Richard Sibbald.

Found accidently this video on youtube a while back of the UFC pre-party with the launch of MAXIM Canada. Check me out as one of the Maxim girls ;-)

Juillet

Hi Hi Hi!

Where to begin? Well, all sorts have happened in recent months. What better way to tell a story then with many photographs.

I'm the new face of Chloe TV/Social Media for Chloe Magazine which is a magazine geared towards Women's Lifestyle, a Canadian based publication (as I may have already mentioned in one of my previous blogs).

Here are some photos from industry party Miami Express Yourself Lounge during Pride at the beginning of July.

Chloe editor in cheif: Michelle Gali, web master: Nyla Nguyen, and yours truly

Next week we'll be shooting a feature with former Backstreet Boy Howie D for our fall issue of the magazine.

I just returned from Cuba a little over a week ago or so. Great relaxation time......

Caught sippin' on a coconut

Most recently this week I did a shoot for the Royal Canadian Mint which will be featured across Canada as their new campaign.

Got to embrace the real Canadian inside of me as the shoot was set up as Canada Day, usually being July 1st so we got to celebrate it all over again ;-) A canoe, beavers, moose, mounties, hockey players, canuck style beer.... what more can one ask for?

FYI title of my blog means July in French for those who were wondering :-) Happy Summer'ing!

Time of The Season

The Zombies sang it best. I am over this gloomy weather, bring on the sunshine ;-)

I have this horrible tendency of going MIA with everything or shall I say everyone in my life when things become consistantly busy, mental note to work on that.... would make for a good "New Year's" resolution.

Champange Party, one of my favourite events that I got to participate in hands down. 1920's themed party with big band style music and glamourous food. I was in heaven! I must say we did get pretty pickled ;-)

My clothing ad for Dekade finally came out in Chole Magazine!
Cover of the current issue with the campaign below

Oh and I recently got the priveledge to work part of the Canadian launch for the very first issue of Canadian MAXIM! Whoopie

Hmm, about a week or so ago I showcased part of MANGO's new line of clothing for summer I believe?
I sneaked a quick snap shot in one of the outfits I had to wear, although my favorite was a yellow blazer with white shorts.

Sort of in a rush to get my act in gear, so many things to do but looking forward to rambling on more later... hehe.

Bisous,

Sabrina

March-Bliss

Hello fellow bloggers,

I was saddened by not being able to write a blog sooner :-(. I feel as if I've-been-so-detached from reality lately. Being this sick (strep throat and flu/cold hybrid) has kept me deep within a hole, I somewhat feel like the phantom of the opera here. Ok, except maybe a little bit more attractive. Getting side tracked like I do.....

What have I been up to before I became the wretched ebola monkey, you might ask? Hold on, I have to think here, let's hope my sense of memory comes back to me if only for a brief moment. It must be all of those damn jello's, and neo citrans I've been consuming - can't really see how that's been productive for my body. Ha. Oh well. All in a day's work.

In recent weeks I shot for a Canadian based publication called "Chloe Magazine" which will be coming out part of their spring issue, I do believe.

I'm partial to thinking, I can clean up quite nicely.

Courtesy of Becoming Salon in Aurora. Had to give a shout out! We shot at this nice location in some sort of a little bistro, it was rather cute with a lot of wooden designed walls and wine bottles placed around it. My sort of atmosphere indeed ;-)

I also had a music video that was just released not too long ago as well - I took the liberty of taking some screen shots of myself showing off my rad dance moves. Nah, just improv but you get the idea. *smiles*

Matters of the Heart & Mind

This would appear to be a bit fitting since we are nearing Valentine's Day. I wonder what everyone's own personal philosophy is on love.....

After years you can't help but wonder if you've been approaching it the correct way, or have others not had the purest of intentions. I think it's a combination of things. It's a topic that seems to always have my mind consumed. None the less, very difficult to understand.

Sometimes I almost get this impression that I've been searching for something that doesn't exist. Something so deep that it creates an everlasting unity between two people that I cannot even put into words. A level of fulfillment that can only ever be reached with that significant other.

The more appropriate question being is how many people have actually experienced this? Having a boyfriend since high school or college doesn't make you an expert. Need not apply. I'm referring to people who have spent their life dedicating each & every moment to that one person. Only then I think you can really understand this matter.....

I'm going to sit on this one.

Frolicking in February

The title seemed to be the first thing that came to mind, however that's the last thing I've been doing! All this snow makes it impossible... I feel like a rat stuck deep within the housing units unable to seek the light..... Please will spring grace us with it's fair presence already?! That would make me smile..... :-)

I have been dabbling quite a bit with a few different ways of nutrition recently - I've been a vegetarian for almost an on-going year now. For better health & my compassion for animals. It definitely has felt like the right lifestyle choice for me, I only wish I became one sooner. I'm researching more into raw food diets and it's benefits versus everything that is cooked, fried, or grilled.
Hardly any of my meals throughout the day are cooked to begin with but I think when people refer to 'going raw' they mean a completely 100% natural diet. Or those who practice as a vegan, I wouldn't consider myself one since I still consume dairy products every so often, but with that being said I have cut back a lot on milk and household every day dairy products after hearing that it's not-so-good-for-us.
If you were a milk lover like me than a good replacement would be almond milk (which I swear by).  Almost all of my food is organic but I can't help but wonder how much do they 'market' to us is really organic if you catch my drift. Needless to say I've slimmed down a lot from cleaning up food habits but not in all the right places??? I'll try explaining that at the next gig I book as to why none of the brassiere's fit..... but that's all excess fat anyways right? Yeah, I'm sure most men would have the same outlook on that..... Not! Ha ha ha. Anyways, I do find it to be a difficult task to find a healthy balance. I guess it's like what they say "All in moderation".
I would like to hear anyone else's thoughts or suggestions they might have or come across over the years in regards to nutrition.

OK, moving on now. I know I don't have any photos to feature this month but bare with me as modelling has not been my primary focus (currently anyways *wink*). Most recently I've been more consumed with my other work (Promotions) for most who are probably not aware that feeds off most of my time. But I do have an agency shoot coming up that I'd be happy to share with everyone.....

OH and incase I haven't already mentioned, as of October I have been growing out my natural hair colour which I am ubber excited to have grown out. I really have organic in all senses of my life, I just want to be as natural and simple as possible. To be as nature intended me to be..... *smile*
That and I've realised that I spent a total of $2,640.00 dollars on my hair last year (not including the additional $500 which it cost me to strip it from dark-back to my-light colour) which appears to me to be a tad bit ridiculous considering I've been colouring it a very similar tone to my own. Again, natural is best.

I must skidaddle now, as I am working another promotional event this afternoon and the next couple of days are going to be filled with events which will keep me very busy.

Before I go, a song that leaves my mind wanting more. Relaxes me.

Happy 2011 | Back to Work

It's here! The new year is finally here... I`m ready to go ;-) I hope 2011 brings everyone lots of happiness, success, love & fulfillment. Okay, I know I know I'm starting to sound repetitive but here`s to a banner year!!!

Starting the new year off right by celebrating in style at my post birthday event, for industry purposes of course *wink wink*

Event Details;
Nyood 1096 QUEEN ST WEST | Toronto, ON
Thursday at 10:30pm - Friday at 3:00am

I hope you all had an incredible NYE celebration wherever you may be in the world....

Of course, I decided to work that evening.
Yours truly on the right side. C`mon I know you all love my colourful wig ;-) Ha

In The Works;

If I`m not mistaken one of the music video`s I did back in October should be making it`s debut next week. Keep an eye out.

I have a commercial shoot coming up, was originally postponed due to the holidays.

My photo shoot for Fashion Television finally aired, here`s the link below!
In a nutshell; Taking place in downtown Toronto at The Royal York, the shoot is based on a Mad Men like theme (Oh yes, I am madly in love with Don Draper or should I just come right out and say it... Jon Ham... Yes please!!) Models: Kate Eaton plays the wife, Philip Macaulay plays the husband and I "dun dun dun" play the sultry mistress. In the scheme of it all everyone ends up dead except for one individual. Who kills everyone in the middle of this mixed love triangle you might ask? Well, that will soon enough be revealed once the photo series is released. ;-)

Hmmm, that`s all I can think of for now! I`ll be back soon to ramble!!

Lots of love,

Sabrina
