December (Olay)

Felt like brushing up on my spanish there ;-) Obviously I had to post a blog before the year officially ends!!

Starting my morning off right with a nice coffee & a bowl of oatmeal with ginger and cranberries. Yum! Before my routine walk on the nature trails, I lucked out today too! It's a whopping 7°C outside today. Which is a warm day for us! Lately it's been minus 10-15°C and with wind chill factor feels like minus 30°C.
Mind you, I feel growing up in Canada has left me with a relatively strong endurance to the cold but that's just too cold for little Sabrina.... Ha!

I just returned back from spending the holidays in Quebec with some family. It felt good to see everyone.
Old Montreal (my french land) The only place in Canada that I feel strongly resembles Europe.

That's right. Behold the fruit cake......

In Tremblant. Isn't it pretty?

My dinner party for my birthday (Dec.30th)
I am so grateful to have celebrated with each of these amazing individuals whom I am lucky & fortunate enough to refer to as my friends. Thank you for a spectacular evening! XOXOXO

They surprised me with my favorite (pistachio) cake. :-)

My best guy friend accompanied me since I am single ;P

All and all, it's been a pretty interesting year. Learn from the bad & leave with the good.
Which concludes in making me wiser with every passing year (or I'd like to think so) hehe. I've been fortunate enough to be fed with work consistantly, people who love me for who I am, and to have a hot meal and bed to sleep in every day. I think more so this year than the rest, that I really understand and appreciate the value of the smaller things in life and begun to embrace them more & I hope you all do the same :-)

                                          Bonne AnnĂ©e! Happy New Years!
I want to wish you all a very happy & prosperous new year, filled with lots of love, good health & success.

                                                         XOXOXO

Spain

Fellow fashion model Kate Eaton and myself decided on a whim to run off to Spain for a barrel of fun and boy did we ever have fun! We spent some time in Sitges (pictures!) The town of Sitges below.

Sunset from our bedroom balcony in Sitges :-)

Our backyard in Sitges

This was behind the house we called home in Sitges. It's a hand-made stone wall that's well over 400yrs old that goes to the very top of the mountain, it was made to keep the sheep crossing on to the other side to eat the fruits. It gets better...

I climbed this bad boy to the very top the next day in the early morning, took me an hour to get to the top of the mountain but I made it!! One of the most liberating experiences of my life (so far) ha! If you're deathly afraid of heights like I am than even more so. ;P

We spent a good 4 hours hiking that day and look what we stumbled upon afterwards..... an old monastery.

We spent a weekend in Barcelona. Nothing short of amazing.
Kate (Putana) and Myself

Our new friend Mounir in Spain, he was a riot!

We also got to venture out in Tarragona. City to the old Roman ruins.

We also got to go to the legendary Montserrat

One of our last outtings was in Vic which is a town near the Pyrenees in which we accidently walked right into a medieval festival. Lucky us!

This huge loaf of bread we purchased, best 3 euro`s we`ve spent the entire trip.

Towards the end of our trip, we would emerge ourselves into our routinely midnight walk through down town Sitges.

Alas, our time came to end. However, I can definitely say that I`ve taken a piece of Spain with me.

Allow me to introduce myself...

My first blog!
So apparently everyone I've worked with recently has a blog to to confide their deep most inner & intimate secrets with...... or just plain out crappy days ;-) So I thought, hey, might as well jump on the bandwagon on this one.

For those of you who don't know me; My name's Sabrina and I am a chocoholic (true story but I'll save that for another time). Ha! You'll find that my humor is slightly sarcastic, and I'm a tad bit of a cynic but I assure you I don't mean any harm by it ;-). I'm an old soul, I enjoy the simple things in life, and animals hold a very close place to my heart. As for the rest you shall see soon enough!

Happy reading! I look forward to sharing all of my silly stories with you...
